The biggest drag racing series in the world will make its 36th annual visit to Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park south of Phoenix on Feb. 21-23, 2020, for the NHRA Arizona Nationals as the second stop on the 24-race NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series tour. The event will feature the best professional teams on earth with 330-mph Top Fuel Dragsters and Nitro Funny Cars along with 210-mph Pro Stock sedans and 250-mph Nitro Harley motorcycles. More than 40,000 fans will converge on the Motorsports Park with sensory jarring action provided by 11,000-horsepower nitro machines.

See the stars race down the drag strip led by eight-time event winner John Force, the 16-time Funny Car world champion, and two-time reigning Top Fuel world champ Steve Torrence, who won the Arizona Nationals title in 2018. In addition to the pro categories, more than 400 teams will compete in Lucas Oil Sportsman competition.

No other form of Motorsports offers the total pit access available to fans as does the Mello Yello Series. The NHRA prides itself in the fact that every person attending an event will have the opportunity to get up close and personal with the biggest stars of the sport. NHRA fans can get autographs, talk with the drivers or crew members, or simply observe how a team tears down an 11,000-horsepower engine and puts it back together again in the allotted minutes between qualifying sessions and elimination rounds. It’s an experience that is unparalleled and exclusive to the NHRA. The unlimited fan accessibility to the pit area and the drivers is one of the purest attractions for NHRA supporters and one major difference between NHRA and other forms of racing.
